About Dan Thien

Dan Thien is an American photographer and creative based in Pennsylvania. He strives for audiences to connect personally with his work and gain a motivation to embark on their own life’s adventures. Dan’s other hobbies include running, coffee, and music.

Originally from the Northeast, Dan’s creative life began at age eight with music and remained exclusively so for eleven years. After being first introduced to photography in 2013, Dan’s first projects revolved around his outdoor adventures in rock climbing and paddlesports. After a brief hiatus, Dan again picked up a camera to begin work in portraiture and landscape. Currently, outside of professional work, Dan enjoys the process and aesthetic of film photography and documents life as it is, focusing on the extraordinary amongst the seemingly ordinary things that surround us in everyday life.
